Schools Contact List:
The Council have put together a contact list for all the schools on the for you to download. This list contains the Headteachers’ names, postal addresses and the telephone numbers and email addresses for each school/college. This list will be updated on a regular basis and is saved as a ‘PDF’ file format.

Special Needs Requirements:
All providers will use their best endeavours and adopt a similar approach to meeting the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs. Schools are supported by the Local Authority to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress in school. All schools are supported to be as proactive and inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils with a Special Educational Need/s being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible, where families want this to happen.
As part of this process all schools on the Island are completing an SEN information report which provides their arrangements for admission of disabled children, the steps being taken to prevent disabled children being treated less favourably than others, the facilities provided to enable access to the school for disabled children and their accessibility plan showing how they plan to improve access progressively over time.
