  • Visit your GP or Pharmacist for direct help with health problems
  • offer one to one support to make lifestyle changes such as weight management and stopping smoking
  • operate an Independent Living Centre (ILC) located in , it helps people to remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible by providing information and advice and the opportunity to ‘try before you buy’ across a wide range of aids and equipment. This could be using Tele Health or Telecare. The ILC stocks and can demo Telecare and personal Alarms. The ILC runs clinics and provides access to an NHS OT for assessment of need, all hour-long appointments on a Monday and Wednesday are provided free.
